Seven clearances have landed in Flintshire postcodes. The county sits on the Dee, close enough to Chester and the Wirral that we work it on the same runs — which is why a Flintshire job is usually an ordinary day rather than a special trip.
Locally this is Deeside, and older people still say Clwyd for the wider area, a county abolished in 1996 that has outlived itself in speech.
Steel towns and villages
Connah's Quay, Shotton, Queensferry and Flint are the industrial strip along the estuary: terraced and postwar housing, tightly built, with back lanes and long occupancies. Volume sits in the yard, the shed and the loft.
Mold, Buckley and the villages inland are older and more mixed, with more space to work in.

Household waste recycling centres are for residents' own waste and refuse trade loads. Our waste carrier registration is CBDU419679 and transfer notes come back from every load.
