House clearance in Loughton is a short run for us — IG10 sits on our side of the M25, and we are somewhere in it most weeks of the year. What follows is one of ours, told properly, rather than a description of a service.
Only the Henry hoover was to stay. That was the single exception on a three-bedroom house in IG10 that we cleared on a Friday at the start of December 2022. Suitcases. A cot frame. Christmas decorations in supermarket boxes that had gone soft. The shed came with the job too — shed and contents, as written. Garden sheds in this part of Essex are rarely just a mower and a spade. There was an upright fridge freezer in the kitchen and a mattress upstairs, and both of those are handled separately from the general load. Two loads went out that day rather than the one first judged. That happens on three-bed-plus-loft-plus-shed jobs more often than not, which is why the second run is planned for at the walk round instead of sprung on anybody at four o'clock.

Closer to Loughton station and the Broadway you're into controlled parking and permit bays, and the residential turnings off Church Hill and Alderton Hill are narrow enough that a 3.5-tonne tipper needs thinking about before nine o'clock on a weekday. If your street has a bay outside and no dropped kerb, tell us when you book and we'll either sort a suspension with the council or plan a longer carry from wherever we can legally stop. A longer carry is fine. Being moved on halfway through a load isn't.
Most of our teams come out from the M25 side, so Loughton, Debden and Buckhurst Hill are straightforward runs. The Central line is useful for a different reason: a fair few of the people who ring us don't live here any more. The rest of the patch
