21 clearances have landed in Northamptonshire postcodes. NN6 north of Northampton comes up most, then NN11 at Daventry, NN17 at Corby, NN3 and NN8 at Wellingborough.
Shoe towns and villages
The old shoe towns — Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden — are terraced, dense and full of long-occupancy housing. Access is the usual terrace problem: no drive, an entry if you are lucky, and a controlled parking zone if you are not.
Corby is different stock again, built quickly and to a pattern, which makes it predictable to quote.
The villages — Brackley, Towcester and the stone country towards the Oxfordshire line — are older, larger and have outbuildings. Those are day jobs.
