Carmarthen, Llanelli and Ammanford in south-west Wales.
Llanelli and Ammanford are terraced former industrial towns. Carmarthen is an old market town, and beyond it the county turns to farms with barns and long lanes.
This is Dyfed to older residents — the county that covered the whole south-west from 1974 to 1996.
