Stoke-on-Trent and the towns around it are the Potteries, and that is what people here say rather than Staffordshire. 24 clearances have landed in the county's postcodes — ST5 at Newcastle-under-Lyme most often, then WS12 at Cannock, ST4, ST7, ST1 and ST3 across the six towns.
What the housing gives you
The Potteries stock is small terraces built for pottery workers, tightly packed, often with an entry down the side rather than a drive.
