Greenwich town itself is Georgian and early Victorian, in a conservation area, with narrow streets, no drives and heavy parking enforcement. Blackheath and Charlton are Victorian terrace and villa. Woolwich and Thamesmead are postwar estates and new riverside blocks with booked lifts and loading bays.
