A long way from anywhere and planned as a trip. Aberystwyth has the student turnover, so clearances cluster around the university year; the town itself is Victorian seafront terraces and tight streets behind.
Inland it is farms and cottages down single-track lanes. Cardiganshire is the older name and Dyfed the later one; both are still used.
