Abacus House Clearance was appointed to clear a heavily cluttered two-bedroom, second-floor flat in Woking, West Surrey.
The client, who wanted the flat cleared so it could be rented, explained that it contained some bulky furniture as well as a huge volume of junk. The property did indeed include a number of large, heavy items such as sofas, several wardrobes, beds and a fridge/freezer, while in some rooms loose household junk almost reached the ceiling.

Although it was only a two-bedroom flat, we knew we’d need extra capacity and manpower, so we brought in two large skips and an extended caged van, and used a clearance team of six.
There was a huge collection of items in black plastic bags, boards and other rubbish, some of it loose, at the ground-floor entrance to the property.
Inside, our Surrey house clearance team removed a huge volume of scattered junk that covered the floor of the sitting-room and dining-room, as well as sofas, chairs, some large and bulky cabinets, books, ornaments, a television set, packed cardboard boxes, etc.
We then cleared the kitchen of table and chairs, utensils, kitchenware and much junk, including items on the floor and on surfaces, and removed rotten food from the fridge/freezer and from cupboards.
We disconnected and removed a couple of microwave ovens, the washing-machine, cooker and fridge/freezer.
In the bedrooms, piles of stuffed bags, bedding, clothes and loose items covered the floors and rose almost to the ceiling in places. The team also removed beds, mattresses and some very bulky wardrobes.
The Abacus house clearance team then took the gathered junk to the local recycling centre in Woking, and packed and delivered to charity outlets whatever was reusable, including a number of ornaments.
We completely emptied the property in under two days.
