Abacus House Clearance was appointed to clear a cluttered three-bedroom semi-detached house, as well as the cellar, outhouse and garage, in Yeovil, South Somerset.
The client wanted the property to be totally cleared so it was ready to put up for sale. Since the client could not attend, we arranged to pick up the keys for the property from an estate agent in the town.
Abacus house clearance team removed a three-piece couch from the sitting-room, a large cabinet along with the books and ornaments in it, chairs, a coffee table, a television set, and various items scattered in the room.
There was a lot to remove from the bedrooms – the beds, mattresses, bedding and clothes piled on the beds, clothes from the built-in wardrobes, bedside tables, cupboards, lamps, black plastic bags packed with items, etc.
Abacus house clearance team removed kitchenware, utensils, a small television set, and various junk from the kitchen, as well as food beginning to rot from the fridge and freezer and from cupboards. We then disconnected & removed the cooker, washing-machine and fridge/freezer.
From the garage and outhouse, we cleared another washing-machine, gardening equipment, boards, an old armchair, and a variety of junk.
The Abacus house clearance team then took the gathered junk to the local recycling centre in Yeovil, and packed and delivered to charity outlets whatever was suitable and sellable.
It took them less than five hours to finish the job.
