House Clearance King’s Lynn, Norfolk house & outhouse clearance, and wallpaper stripping
Abacus House Clearance was appointed to clear a cluttered two-bedroom semi-detached house and outhouse in King’s Lynn, Norfolk.
We were also asked to strip the wallpaper from the two bedrooms.
This was one of those cases where, as often happens, the client at first had planned to clear the house himself. However, he checked out the cost of hiring skips and of getting rid of rubbish, and so on, and decided that it would be more cost-effective to use a house-clearance company.
He discovered Abacus house clearance on the Internet, rang us up and, after a short conversation, arranged for us to do the work.
The clearance team removed sofas, armchairs, sideboards, dressers and tables from the sitting-room and dining-room, as well as some cardboard boxes in which items had been packed by the client.
In the kitchen, we removed any food from the fridge/freezer and cupboards, and gathered and packed tableware, utensils, ornaments, vases, jars, etc.
We then disconnected and removed the fridge/freezer, washing-machine, microwave and cooker.
From the two bedrooms, our house clearance team removed beds and mattresses, wardrobes, stacks of bedding and clothes, and a television set.
We then cleared the outhouse which contained a lot of junk, including paint tins, plant food and fertilisers, pots, an old microwave, casserole dishes and discarded kitchenware, and some containers packed with rubbish.
