House Clearance East Dereham, Norfolk. Cluttered house and garden clearance.
Abacus House Clearance was asked to clear a highly cluttered house, garden shed and garden in East Dereham, Norfolk.
It was a two-bedroom semi-detached house, so it was not a large house – but the customer warned us that there was a lot of rubbish scattered through the house and in the garden.
The property needed to be clear and tidy so that it would look its best when put up for sale.
The client did not live in the area, so we picked up the keys from a nearby solicitor’s office, as arranged.
From the living-room, our house clearance team removed a sofa, armchairs, wooden chairs and other furniture, as well as a television set and junk scattered on the floor.
Other rooms were heavily cluttered, with a lot of items strewn on the carpets that had to be gathered and packed into bags.
Our house clearance team cleared rotten food from the fridge/freezer and cupboards, and disconnected and removed the cooker, fridge/freezer and washing-machine.
After all junk had been cleared from the garden shed, the team turned to the garden, front and back, where there was a huge amount of rubbish scattered on gravel, tarred paths, grass and paving. The items included broken chairs, paper, boards, pieces of timber, a pile of red bricks and plastic paint containers.
Since the junk was scattered so widely through the house and garden, it took time to gather it up, sort it and pack it, as well as to leave the property in a tidy state. However, our house clearance team completed the job in less than eight hours.
The Abacus team took the extensive volume of junk to the local recycling centre in Norfolk, and packed and delivered to charity several items that were suitable and could be sold on.
The customer was hugely relieved to see the heavily cluttered property totally cleared and ready for putting on the market.
