House Clearance Dudley, West Midlands. House, shed & outhouse clearance.
Abacus House Clearance was appointed to clear a three-bedroom, semi-detached house, garden shed and two outhouses in Dudley, West Midlands.
The client also asked us to remove all the carpets and underlay from the property, which needed to be ready to go on sale.
Since the client was not able to attend on the day, Abacus house clearance team picked up the key to the house from a neighbour.
Four large armchairs were cleared from the sitting-room, as well as a television set, coffee table and dresser along with its contents – a number of ornaments and books.
In the kitchen, the team removed a heater and some containers in which items had been packed, as well as some food from the fridge. They also disconnected and removed the cooker, fridge and washing machine.
A dining table, chairs and sideboard were cleared from the dining-room, along with some cardboard boxes packed with dinner sets, etc.
In most of the rooms, items had already been packed into boxes and suitcases, which made the job easier.
From the bedrooms, the team removed beds, mattresses, wardrobes, chairs, dressing-tables, mats and bedding.
They then lifted all the carpets and underlay throughout the house.
The garden shed and outhouses were quite cluttered with junk, in contrast to the house. A variety of items were cleared from these, including garden tools, a mowing machine, and a gas canister.
The Abacus team transported the junk to the local recycling centre, and packed items, such as ornaments, that were sellable and delivered them to local charity outlets.
The client later expressed great satisfaction with the job – which had been completed in under five hours.
